Arizona is Bob's home state. Although born in Belgrade, Serbia,
he lived nearly three decades in Phoenix/Scottsdale, longer than any place else. He
considered moving to Western Australia, where he bought a beautiful
property in 1996 (see
Just
Another Day in Paradise). He tried again swapping Arizona
for Idaho or Montana in 2001. But it wasn't to be. His heart drew
him back to Arizona every time. Until late 2008-early 2009.
That's
when
Maui Called. He followed the spirits' guidance
and moved to Hawaii in March 2009.
What follows are some of the last stories from memories of a
lifetime spent as a "desert rat" in the beautiful state of Arizona.
